what is fujocon?

FUJOCON IS AN INTERNATIONAL, BL+ VIRTUAL CONVENTION DEDICATED TO SHARING OUR LOVE OF BL WITH the global community AS WE ALL STAY HOME TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19.

Goals and Regulations

Our mission is to share our love of BL with the global community and to connect fans with top BL creators, academics, and content. We provide adult fans and creators a safe and fun space to share art, cosplay, and panels with one another through a virtual environment. FujoCon brings the convention experience online–for free–so everyone, regardless of where you live, can experience a BL con from the safety of their own homes while we continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Our motto is “ship and let ship” and we expect our attendees to honor that. We do not condone nor tolerate any hateful behavior and will remove any attendees who display any sort of misconduct.

Because of the nature of BL content, FujoCon is aimed at adults and will have 18+ programming.

As a group of diverse fujin, we are passionate about equality and representation in fandom and beyond. We strongly oppose all forms of racial violence and refuse to be silent, and thus complicit, in that violence. We promise to elevate diverse voices and work to ensure the communities we love are free from racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism. We are with you. We see you.

What is BL+?

BL+ describes a wide-range of media focused on the otaku interests of fujoshi / fudanshi / fujin. BL is a global phenomenon, beloved by people regardless of country or language, so our programming is globally focused and incorporates BL from inside and outside of Japan.
